 ll are welcome to come along to walk along the Tulpehocken Creek in suppor
 t of the effort or to help with other activities outlined below\n\nThe wal
 k steps off at 1:15 p.m. but registration will begin at 12:30 p.m. and the
 re are some new\nopportunities to make a difference:\n Writing advocacy
  letters—We’ll offer guidance for letters to Congress to urge support\
 nfor the Farm Bill that could serve more families in need.\n Putting to
 gether disaster kits—Put together a kits to be shipped to the national C
 ROP\nWalk sponsor\, Church World Service\, and shared with those strugglin
 g after recent\ndisasters\, including Hurricane Helene.\n Collecting no
 n-perishables—Bring a canned or other non-perishable food item for\nHelp
 ing Harvest\, the regional food bank that supplies First UU’s monthly fo
 od pantry.\nAlso\, please consider a donation to the team as a whole or on
