First UU’s annual Service Auction, the congregation’s largest fund-raiser and all-around fun social event, will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 11.

Those who’ve come to this event in the past know it starts with an hour of food, drink and conversation, followed by a live auction of several dozen items ranging from donated decorative items to homemade meals hosted by members to weekend getaways! For our newer members and friends, some of the group activities offered are a great opportunity to meet others in the congregation! Child care will be available for the event as in years’ past.

There will also be silent auctions  both online (this year, that’ll be in the two weeks after the live event!) and in-person (as part of April 11). There will be items available for every budget to get in the fun!

Our online auction website and most importantly this year’s theme are being finalized and we’ll be announcing updates—including how you can offer an item for the Service Auction!—in the week ahead!
