This Little Light of Mine

I’m gonna let it shine, let it shine, let it shine, let it shine

Mi pequeñita luz, la dejaré brillar.

Mi pequeñita luz, la dejaré brillar.

Mi pequeñita luz, la dejaré brillar.

Brillará, Brillará, Brillará.

It’s not about just “letting it shine” it’s about what and whom do you need to keep shining or to fuel your fire? Embodying Resilience takes support.

When you come to church – who are three people that help you feel shiny?

Outside of church – Here are three avenues of rich support in the form of Exploration with descriptions from the organizers of these resources:

SoulMatters Soulful Home: As parents/guardians/caregivers, we want to find ways to integrate Unitarian Universalism into our everyday home life. But it’s not easy. It can be hard to carve out time for faith-full family experiences. That’s where Soulful Home comes in. Resources are based on each month’s theme and focused on families with kindergartners through 8th grade but can be helpful for families of one to families of many.

Ramadan At the Table: The practice is simple enough. Each day invites an opportunity to engage with one particular concept within the Islamic traditions. Take time to reflect on the concept of the day with whatever practice works for you. Reflect independently, or if possible, within your chosen family or faith community.

UU Lent Photo A Day Project : #UULent was created as a way for Unitarian Universalists to engage in a shared spiritual practice alongside siblings in faith who are observing Lent. Reflect on the word each day, then post a picture in the facebook group linked.
